Katniss looks down at the ground as she walks through the park. She felt empty inside now that Cato was gone. She looks up as she bumps into someone. “I am sooo sorry-” she begins before she see’s who it was. “Cato!” She exclaims, jumping into his arms and planting a longing kiss on his lips. “I thought you were dead…”
“They revived me.” He says, pulling her in for another kiss.
“I’m so happy you’re back. I don’t know what I would do if you were really gone.” She whispers. Cato smiles.
“Don’t think about it. I’m here now, you’ll never have to feel that way again. I promise.” He says kissing her again.

Katniss gasps as Glimmer walks up to her on the roof of the Training Center. “W-what do you want?” she stutters out.
“Don’t worry. I’m not here to push you off the roof and murder you before we even enter the arena if that’s what you’re thinking.” Glimmer says, holding her hands up in innocence.
“Then what are you here for?” Katniss asks, releasing the breath she didn’t know she had been holding.
“I just wanted to say sorry. I’ve been a bitch to you the past few days for no reason and I feel terrible about it.” Glimmer says.
“Do you mean that?” Katniss asks, shocked by the blondes statement.
“Yes.” Glimmer says. “And I really hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”
“Of course I forgive you, Glimmer.” Katniss says and steps towards her and wrapping her in a hug. Glimmer returns it, a tear softly streaking down her cheek. She pulls away and sniffles a bit.
“Thank you.” Glimmer says turning to walk away. She stop and turns back. “This never happened, got it?” she nearly snaps. Katniss nods as Glimmer walks away.

Clove and her little sister: momentarily reliving their childhood before the eldest sister had to go to the train.

“Kat,” Cato whispered, “Kat, wake up… before Peeta hears us!”
“No,” she grumbled, “I’m too sleepy…”
“Come on, get your cute, sleepy butt up; I have something I want to show you. I want to show you that I really like you…”
“Well, since you asked so nicely…”

“Faster, horsie, faster,” Katniss shouted, laughing; she was thoroughly enjoying herself.
“I’m trying, I’m trying! But this much muscle has to work to build up speed!”
“Ah, shut it, you’re just trying to impress me.”
“True story,” Cato said with a grin.
